Whirlpool washer broken motor coupling diagnosis and fix
Parts NeededMotor coupling #285753A
This was a used appliance that I got in to fix and resale. Many times Whirlpool washer owners assume the motor or the transmission is bad when they hear this horrible noise and their washer doesn’t spin or agitate. The broken motor coupling is probably the most common no spin no agitate cause, but a dead motor, a clogged pump, or a bad timer can also cause a no spin or agitate problem.
In this video, I show you how I test the washer, diagnose the problem, and fix it. or broken washing machine motor coupling whirlpool download file here
